aroline Lane accepted an athletic scholarship and signed her official letter of intent this week to play tennis for William Jewell College. William Jewell is just outside Kansas City and promises students an outstanding liberal arts education that cultivates leadership, service, and spiritual growth within a community inspired by Christian ideals and committed to open, rigorous intellectual pursuits. The William Jewell Cardinals compete in NCAA Division 2 athletics and are members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Caroline was a three sport varsity athlete and also a trainer for the Regents football team. She plans on studying nursing at William Jewell. Congratulations Caroline!
Elysa Wolf has been accepted to Calvin College, a top-ranked liberal arts college in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and intends to participate in swimming. Calvin College prepares students to be Christ's agents of renewal in the world. The Calvin Knights compete in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, NCAA Division III. Both the men's and women's swim teams at Calvin won this year's conference championships, which was the 11th straight for the women and 2nd straight for the men, and it was the first time the same school won back to back titles in both genders. Elysa has been swimming for the Regents Knights all four years of high school. She earned a trip to the state meet every season in multiple events, and has earned two gold medals and two bronze medals at the state meets. She has earned All-State honors as well as Academic All-State honors. Congratulations Elysa!
