Our Community
A community of learning thrives in Southwest Austin. Regents seeks to train students for the future. But, before we get ahead of ourselves, we embrace their current journeys. We laugh, cry, and labor with students and their parents as we enjoy life together.
Along the way, we use the voices of the past to illuminate our present paths. Our pursuit is not for the faint hearted. We strive to understand so that we can winsomely involve ourselves with culture. What does all that mean? Simple - we are here on earth demonstrating the love of Christ. He came to earth to serve, not to be served. So, in preparation for service we seek to understand and develop our ability to listen and to communicate. We seek to develop "good men who speak well."
"Good" as defined as solid moral fiber in our boys and girls. "Speaking well" as those who do not only understand truth, but they skillfully communicate so that others hear and listen to them.
Intellect without winsomeness is pedantic and stuffy. Intellect without love does not disarm, but rather it offends.
