Art gives witness to societies otherwise long vanished. Art finds its expression in all areas of our daily lives, inspiring and engaging us in the creative process even as we imitate God, the ultimate Creator.
We reenforce our curriculum with field trips and workshops featuring guest artists. This is an environment where students can find expressive outlets to develop their full potential in the arts that will last a lifetime.
Beginning in 5th grade students may elect to take band (brass, woodwinds and percussion) or string orchestra. Under the direction of Mr. B. Sterling Archer, students will have opportunities to play in large and small ensembles as well as to excel in solo works through concerts and competitions. Read more
