With a field of 91 players, the TAPPS 4A South Regional held in Katy at Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club on April 14, included every weather condition imaginable. The day started out at 82 degrees, calm winds and by noon, north winds of 35-40mph winds were ripping through the course, temperatures drop below 50 degrees and thunderstorms forced a two hour rain delay. Freshman Brian Arabie, playing through the myriad of challenges, carded a respectable 93 and missed qualifying to the state tournament by only a few shots. Only the top 10 individuals and low four teams advanced.
